I caught him and Lisa Hannigan on Austin City Limits in 04, he’s just as amazing in that venue as he is on the album. Lisa’s retooling of Silent Night on the hidden tracks is beautiful, and while a bit depressing, so many of his songs have little glimmers of happiness in them~except Cold Water, which really is just depressing as all get out.
So yeah, Damien Rice FTW!!!
